About Us
Our mission is to fund cultural initiatives and projects that amplify the voices of Kurdish people.
Because we want to make the vibrant, colorful culture of the Kurdish people more accessible to people around the world, ultimately changing the perception of Kurds from one rooted in violence and war to one honoring the collective creativity and zest for life.
The Eyan Foundation’s History
With ties to The Kurdish Project, a cultural-education initiative to celebrate Kurdish culture and build bridges between Kurds and the West through grant-making, campaigns, storytelling, information, and news, the Eyan Foundation was formed in 2022 to support the colorful, artistic nature of the Kurdish people.
The Eyan Foundation is a natural extension of the work The Kurdish Project does. Co-created by Farhad “Fred” Khosravi, a Kurdish-American entrepreneur, and Media Cause, a nonprofit digital agency, as a cultural-education initiative to raise awareness in Western culture of Kurdish people.
